CITRA BUILD INFO:\r
\r
So heres the deal with getting this game to run. I tried it on multiple builds, but most of them had major issues getting the game to work.\r
\r
- The last few official Bleeding Edge builds (as of 11/18/2016) run it faster than in this video, but they freeze during the intro right before you get to play. You can use a save file right after this point, but the game still freezes a TON all over the place.\r
\r
- The last few unofficial Chinese CPU JIT builds (the latest release is 09/24/2016) state that The SD Card couldnt be recognized. I tried deleting saves, using saves from other builds, etc. but nothing I did could get me past this error. Perhaps someone knows of a workaround?\r
\r
- The build that I ually got working (and what I used for this video) is one I found on Hacked Thunders YouTube channel called Citra Speed V2 (Intro Fix). Im not really sure whats different about this particular build, but I got no freezing with Pokemon Sun and Moon, and I played both for about 40 minutes each. The game runs a bit slower than newer builds, but as I mentioned above, the newer builds freeze/crash A LOT. Heres the video that has download links and more info: \r

BLACK LINE FIX INFO:\r
\r
By default, right now Citra leaves behind a lot of pesky black lines in Pokemon Sun/Moon when certain textures are on the screen. There is a fix though by way of using a cheat. Once you have the game running in Citra, go to Emulation - Cheats. then click Add Cheat and enter the following:\r
\r
Name: Black Line Removal\r
Type: GateWay\r
\r
Click OK.\r
\r
Then under Details copy/paste the code below:\r
\r
1041B748 0000F000\r
1041B74A 0000E320\r
D2000000 00000000\r
\r
Once done, hit Save and restart the game. No more black line issues! Note that on newer builds of Citra, I couldnt ever get the cheat to stick (when I hit Save it would just disappear). If you are trying to use a new build and are having the same issue, copy and paste the .txt for the game under your Citra install directory/user/cheats on the build Im using in this video into the same location for your newer build.\r

\r
GENERAL INFO:\r
\r
Citra is currently available for Windows, Linux, and Mac (OS X). Hopefully one day it will be available for Android and iPhone / iPad devices as well. All my Citra videos are running on Windows 10 64-bit. Also, all of my Citra videos show the games running in real time--no edited speedups or anything like that.\r
\r
Do you want to play 3DS games on Citra yourself? Then watch my Citra tutorial video to see how to download and setup the emulator: \r

Notes about Citra: At this point in its development, Citra is still a very early and experimental emulator. Quite a few games run fairly well now in large part thanks to the recent implementation of the CPU JIT compiler, but there are a lot of graphical and audio issues. Basically, dont expect it to run games perfectly.\r
\r
To prevent Citra from running above 60 FPS, enable V-Sync under Emulation - Configure - Graphics within Citra.\r
\r
My PC specs: i7-4770 CPU, 8GB DDR3 RAM, NVIDIA GTX 970 GPU\r
